For the better part of my life I've turned tree branches into art. I enjoy sculpting large and small vignettes from wood.
I consider my walking sticks and canes as walking sculptures. The woods are from the Northwest. Madrone Laurel, Myrtle, Diamond Willow, Pear Blossom, Manzanita, Oak and Knotty Pine.
This web site contains some of the wood art I have created over the years.
The carvings are based on my past life and travels and no themes are repeated.
Although many appear intricate, they are anything but delicate, I believe people should walk with and exhibited this art to the public. These sculptures command attention. They are pieces of art, heirlooms to be passed down through generations. Each piece is a hand crafted, detailed micro carvings.
I would like to add a caveat about the photographs of my sculptures. Pictures can't capture the small details of my carvings.
Please understand this is a very small sampling of my art.
